In the 10 years of the charity, Gift of Life’s Old Russian New Year Gala has become our main fundraiser, providing the major source of income for our charity programmes, as well as a firm fixture on the London social calendar.

Held at the iconic Savoy hotel, the Gala attracts Russian cultural, business, and social elite and prominent members of British establishment. It’s one of the most anticipated charity events among the Russian-speaking community not only in London but also across other European capitals.

World renowned actors, musicians, dancers and other performers traditionally take part in the evening. In 2022 the programme will be inspired by the artistic director of the Gogol Centre Aleksey Agranovich, who, together with Podari Zhizn co-founder Chulpan Khamatova, has prepared lots of interesting surprises for Gift of Life’s donors and supporters.

The highlight of the evening will be the charity auction offering unique money-can’t-buy items and experiences donated by the friends and partners of the Foundation.

Over the last decade Gift of Life has become a major force providing better access to medicines and treatment for young cancer patients in Russian clinics, having supported over 500 children and young adults in their fight against oncological diseases.

We can’t wait to share the anniversary edition of the Gala with you, celebrating hundreds of saved lives and raising much-needed funds to continue our mission.
