Frieze tour raised £1500 for charity

On 10 October 2020, an exclusive Frieze charity tour arranged by Olga Ovenden raised almost £1500 for children with cancer and serious blood diseases in the Gift of Life’s care.

Olga Ovenden, a contemporary art consultant with ten years of experience and a friend of Gift of Life, made this special tour to capture the highlights of the Frieze Sculpture Park exhibition in Regent’s Park and to present the finest contemporary art galleries in the heart of London’s Mayfair.

Art spaces that were visited on the day included David Zwirner, Hauser & Wirth, Carl Kostyal, Max Hetzler, Cork Street biennale of Lisson, Stephen Friedman and Sadie Coles galleries and, of course, Thaddaeus Ropac, which hosted an intimate champagne reception for our guests. A special treat was a visit to the completely new gallery of Charles Saatchi’s daughter, Saatchi Yates.

Art meetings in aid of Gift of Life led by Olga Ovenden Art Consultancy have already become a good tradition. They bring the exciting world of contemporary art closer and make the chance of recovery for one of our beneficiaries more real.

Thi tour raised almost £1,500 in donations for three-year-old Slava Protopopov from Nadym. The boy is being treated for leukaemia at the Dmitry Rogachev Centre in Moscow and requires a course of effective drug Defitelio.

Many thanks to Olga Ovenden, Lyuba Galkina, and all the guests of this unique tour for their support and donations.

Together we can save more children from cancer!
