Justine Waddell


Justine Waddell is an actress and screenwriter.  She is currently developing a screenplay adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s early comic novel, Night and Day with the British Film Institute. She has played many leading roles in feature films and television series including Tarsem Singh’s The Fall (2007) and Alexander Zeldovich and Vladimir Sorokin’s 2011 sci-fi re-imagining of Anna Karenina, Мишень (Target), for which she learnt the Russian language from scratch.  Justine is also a trustee and director of Kino Klassika, a UK charity which raises money to support the restoration and presentation of classic films of Russian-language cinema.
